Perhaps you’ve already got a good knowledge of a certain resource and therefore don’t need help with that aspect.  Or conversely, maybe you’re doing your accounts the traditional way and as such don’t need information on the best accounting software out there.

No one likes to receive criticism. Right from our earliest memories at school when we’re always encouraged to do our best and we become aware that winning and succeeding brings with it a lot of praise, when we receive criticism, we can instantly feel like we’ve done something wrong – and not only done something wrong, but failed completely.

It’s therefore completely understandable why we can be anything other than naturally accepting of criticism.

But when you’re a small business owner, that’s exactly what you have to be. You have to welcome criticism with open arms – embrace what people are telling you about every aspect of your business – as when you do, you’ll receive the best business intelligence possible, which is an understanding of where it is you’re going wrong.
